Performance driven frac valves, zipper manifolds, flow crosses and goatheads
Cactus Wellhead™ has engineered a frac valve product line that is specifically designed for the demanding conditions present in multi-stage frac operations. The results of these innovative features are more up time and less costly equipment repairs.
Cactus™ zipper manifolds are engineered and designed to minimize our footprint at the wellsite.
The skid-mounted manifolds are 100% Cactus™ designed, flexible and tailored to location space conditions. They can be configured in multiple arrangements to minimize erosion and manipulate flow to multiple wells according to designed velocity, frac line size and characteristics of the wellbore.
Cactus™ horizontal ‘zipper’ manifolds can be completely assembled and tested at our branch facilities, minimizing field installation time. And, Cactus™ zipper manifolds are engineered based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of components to counteract the effects of sand and frac slurry erosion. Connections are positioned safely within reach and minimize the need for harnesses or manlifts. Manifold valves are positioned for optimum sealing and ultimate performance.
We stock a full range of tees, crosses, goatheads and flow back products that minimize rig-up time, improve safety, and enhance efficiency to lower operator costs.
The Cactus™ SafeClamp™ improves operational efficiency and personnel safety by providing a hands-free method for attaching equipment to the top of the frac tree. Unlike other hands-free devices, which use an axial retention method that can be prone to failure during operation, the SafeClamp™ uses an innovative breech lock design for retention. This design uses a single component as the primary locking mechanism with a secondary lock that automatically engages when the primary lock reaches its closed position. The SafeClamp™ uses an HMI control system for ease of operation.
The use of hydraulic gate valves on manifolds and frac trees improves safety by allowing personnel to remain out of the hazardous zone during frac operations. However, the gate position, as indicated by the valve stem, can be difficult to determine from a distance and this can present personnel with a sense of uncertainty as to when (or if) the gate has reached the open or closed position. The Cactus™ SafeFlag™ addresses this issue by providing a highly visible indicator that changes orientation as the gate moves between the open and closed positions. The SafeFlag™ can also be installed on manual gate valves to indicate position, while serving as a complement to counting turns.
With a focus on efficiency and safety, Cactus Wellhead™ has developed the Cactus™ SafeInject™ system which allows the user to grease valves on frac trees and manifolds while keeping personnel out of the hazardous zone.
The Cactus™ SafeLink® system provides a large bore flow path to each of the wells, thus eliminating the need for frac iron between the zipper manifold and the frac trees. Instead of a conventional zipper manifold, the SafeLink® system uses a site-specific header configuration that allows the customer to manipulate the flow to the wells. The connection between the header and the frac tree is made using a preassembled coupler that is easy to install and remove due to the use of quick connect components.
Cactus™ SafeDrill® Wellhead Systems include a complete line of drill-through single piece multi-bowl wellhead systems that enhance field personnel safety and save valuable rig time. These efficient and innovative systems are safer, easier and faster to install than conventional wellhead systems.
